Salar Jung Museum

Visitors can explore a vast collection of art and historical objects, including sculptures, bronzes and decorative arts. The museum features ivory and wooden artefacts of fine craftsmanship along with a wide range of textiles and costumes.

It also showcases an extensive collection of clocks and time-keeping devices, illustrated manuscripts and Indian miniature paintings. European paintings, sculptures and East Asian ceramics and artefacts are also displayed, representing a variety of global objects.

The decorative arts are known for their high quality. A special children’s section is available, and the experience includes stories about the Salar Jung founders and their contributions to Hyderabad, offering an enriching cultural and historical experience.
