Step into the high-stakes world of the Mughal court with a heritage walk through the Red Fort (Lal Qila), a UNESCO World Heritage site and silent witness to India’s most dramatic power struggles.

Commissioned by Shah Jahan, this citadel tells a story that goes beyond architecture—it is a saga of imperial opulence, political intrigue, and a brutal war of succession.

Unique in history, this battle for the throne unfolded while the Emperor was still alive. We explore the fierce rivalry between Shah Jahan’s sons—Dara Shikoh and Aurangzeb—and the strategic alliances of their sisters, Jahanara and Roshanara Begum.
