Gavipuram Heritage Trail

The Gavipuram Heritage Walk is a guided walking experience that helps people understand one of Bangalore’s oldest and least-known neighbourhoods.

On this walk, participants explore how early Bengaluru evolved through temples, hillocks, city boundaries, and sacred spaces. The walk focuses on Gavipuram’s role in shaping old Bangalore, long before the modern city developed.

It covers places such as the Gavi Gangadhareshwara cave temple, hill temples, Kempegowda’s western tower, memorial sites, and sacred hills.

This is a slow, story-driven walk, meant for people who want to look beyond popular landmarks and understand Bangalore in a deeper, more meaningful way.
