In the wake of India's independence, Purana Qila became one of the largest refugee camps in Delhi. Amid the ruins of empires, new lives were being rebuilt, identities reshaped, and futures reimagined.

Partition wasn’t just a moment in history — it reshaped Delhi forever. Colonies, identities, languages, food, and the city’s emotional landscape all changed in 1947.

Purana Qila stands as a silent witness to these upheavals.

This walk is not just about ruins or relics, but about remembering and honouring stories that often go untold.
