This world food day, come hungry, come curious. When was the last time you harvested a vegetable, cooked over a wood fire or met the person who grew your food? This World Food Day, spend a full day at Akshayakalpa Organic Farm rediscovering and celebrating the food that fills your plate. Every meal begins with agriculture. At Forgotten Foods, you get to experience it. Start with the soil Sow and harvest fresh vegetables and discover local and seasonal produce. Indulge in organic Gather around for a fresh organic lunch cooked with care in our kitchens.  Meet the farmers behind your food Learn more about the journey food takes before it reaches your plate. Spend time with the farm’s liveliest residents Pet the cows and calves, watch the milking process and experience another side of food. Have heaps of fun Follow the clues on a scavenger hunt, enjoy a bullock-cart ride, try your hands at the wood-fire cooking contest, jump into a mud bath, and make something of your own through pottery and diya-making. Bring your family, partner or friends.
