Begin with an introduction to Kashi’s sacred geography, the evolution of the Ganga riverfront, the history of the ghats, and the significance of Kartik Purnima and Dev Deepawali.

Then board a reserved boat on the Ganga and experience the illuminated riverfront from the water.

As evening unfolds, observe the historic architecture of the ghats, Dev Deepawali rituals, Ganga Aarti, and cultural performances. Light and laser presentations and fireworks may also form part of the experience, subject to the official festival programme.
